You wouldn't expect

You wouldn't expect to tell your best friend her brother is dead when you're 15. You wouldn't even expect to get interrupted in the middle of a shower by a repeating, begging knock to open the door. And to when you open it you see your best friends worried face telling you her brother isn't waking up. As soon as you hear that you quickly rush to your mother to find out what's happening and tell your friend "Everything will be okay, just take a shower to relax." Your mother has no idea what is going on either until you hear the phone ring and your mom is speechless, not knowing what to say and tells you to tell your friend what has happened because she can't. You stop your friend from getting in the shower with non-stop tears running down your face saying the words "he isn't here anymore." Her face turns blank and you just hug each other in silence while the reality of what just happened sinks in on what you expected to be a normal Saturday morning. You wouldn't expect to tell your best friend her brother is dead when you're 15.
